Demand continues to decline, U.S. manufacturing orders to China fall by 40%

On December 5, the US media CNBC reported that since the autumn, US orders for Chinese production have decreased by 40%. Because of the drop in demand, shipping companies will reduce the number of shipping flights between China and the United States. Container traffic from China to the U.S. fell 21% between August and November, and U.S. imports from Asia also plummeted to their lowest level in 20 months in October. In addition, some supply chain companies said that Chinese factories are expected to stop production in advance of the holiday, which may further affect the production and transportation of orders.
