Overtaking Vietnam, China is once again the largest furniture importer in the U.S.

According to the latest data from the United Nations COMTRADE international trade database, in 2021, the total value of imported furniture, lighting fixtures and prefabricated buildings in the United States will reach 81.39 billion US dollars. Among them, the total value of furniture imports exceeded 29 billion US dollars, an increase of 28% from last year's 22.7 billion US dollars. In 2021, China exported furniture worth US$9.117 billion to the United States, an increase of 24% from US$7.331 billion in 2020; Vietnamese furniture exports to the US reached US$9.1 billion, an increase of 23% from US$7.405 billion in 2020; Mexican furniture The total value of exports to the United States reached 1.919 billion US dollars, an increase of 61%, and jumped to the third place.
