Samsung says more than 300 companies will adopt its smart home connectivity tech

Samsung is betting on its new strategy of creating connected experiences and "bringing calm to the connected world" to enable seamless smart home connectivity.

Samsung plans to bring SmartThings technology to thousands of devices developed by other OEMs. More than 300 companies will soon adopt SmartThings technology. At the same time, about 3,000 different categories of smart home devices, including air conditioners, smart door locks and lights, home appliances, automatic blinds, etc., will all support the SmartThings platform.
