U.S. report: Furniture was the only manufacturing industry that lost money in May

Recently, ISM, the world's most authoritative association for procurement, supply and logistics management, released the US manufacturing report for May. ISM said that the purchasing managers' index of the US manufacturing industry in May was 56.1%, an increase of 0.7 percentage points year-on-year, and the overall economy achieved 24 consecutive months of growth. Among them, the order backlog index was 58.7%, and the inventory index was 55.9%. In May, 15 U.S. manufacturing industries reported increases compared to April, the only one reporting a decline was the furniture industry.
